Rosarito Beach Mexico

The Rosarito Beach Tour starts in San Diego, but the adventure begins as you cross into Mexico and visit Rosarito Beach, one of Mexico's best-known beachside resort towns. Experience a brief tour of Tijuana before journeying into Rosarito Beach, where you can walk along the beach or enjoy a number of optional activites (not included) - such as learning how to ride a motorcycle, going parasailing or relaxing with a beachside massage.

Have some lunch and see the sights once you arrive in Rosarito Beach. Shop at one of the area's newest flea markets and learn how to bargain with Mexican vendors.

Pickup Locations

You must note on the Order Form a specific pickup location from one of the specified areas noted below.

Complimentary pickups are available at hotels in the following San Diego areas ONLY:

~ Downtown San Diego
~ Hotel Circle Area
~ San Diego Bay Area

If you are not staying at a hotel in one of these areas, there are also two general pickup locations - one in the Downtown area and one in the Old Town area. One of the two locations noted below in the Sample Itinerary must be selected on the Order Form if you are not requesting a hotel pickup in one of the approved areas.

10:45 am: Departure from the Amtrak Station in downtown San Diego
11:00 am: Departure from 2415 San Diego Ave. in Old Town
11:30 am: Arrival in Tijuana - start of Tijuana Tour (Financial District, River Zone, Casino Zone, Ave. Revolucion, Downtown)
12:15 pm: Departure to Rosarito Beach
12:45 pm: Arrival in Rosarito Beach for Lunch and Shopping
4:00 pm: Departure from Rosarito Beach
5:00 pm: Arrival in San Diego

Re-entering the US is a privilege, not a right! Persons returning from Mexico by land (tour bus), will be required to present a travel document listed below:

~~ If you do not provide the proper documentation, you will be detained at the border. If you are eventually cleared, you will be providing alternate transportation back to your pick up point at your cost.

US Currency is accepted in all Tijuana Shops. Visitors to Mexico may purchase up to $800 USD of merchandise duty free. Visitors are allowed to return with 1 liter of alcohol per person, age 21 or older. Most major credit cards and Travelers checks are accepted in Mexico; however cash is preferred. Be sure to carry small denominations for easier bartering with local vendors.
